Great Basin Wildfire Forum: The Search for Solutions
The Wildfire Forum was a two-day discussion among eminent range scientists, who were gathered by the University of Nevada, Reno to discuss the problems with and solutions for the Great Basin’s wildfire problem. This publication received Nevada Governor Jim Gibbons’ endorsement and was forwarded to the Western Governor’s Association and Nevada’s congressional delegation.
College of Agriculture Recruitment Viewbook
Extensive research was involved in planning this publication, which ultimately won the top award, a Silver Spike, given by the Sierra Nevada Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.
Nevada Agricultural Experiment Station 2006 Research Report
This is an extensive overview of the University’s Agricultural Experiment Station’s ongoing research in a variety of fields, from economics to biotechnology.
Desert Research Institute
Bob was hired in 2007 to work part time managing work-flow, editing and helping to produce three publications for DRI. This project saw the redesign of the Institute’s newsletter as well as a new approach toward feature and ‘news brief’-type content.
Nevada Department of Conservation and Natural Resources
2008 Biennial Report
This report will be used to communicate with Nevada’s legislators in the 2009 session, as well as with the Department’s key constituents for the next two years.
