SmartPhonePhoto_By_Bob_ConradI’m back with another marketing course, this one focused on better smartphone photo basics.

Master photographer Chase Jarvis once said, “The best camera is the one you have with you.” For most, that means an iPhone or Android smartphone.

The workshop is for small business owners, employees of non-profits, journalists, marketers and anyone seeking to improve their basic knowledge of social media marketing using images.

We will cover photography basics and how to optimize images for popular social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Joining me is Dana “PhotoZen” Nollsch, a professional photographer in Northern Nevada, whose photo essay of Tent City in Reno earned him the Nevada Press Association Best News Photo Coverage Award for 2010.

Early bird registration ends Friday, April 17. Early bird registration is $60 plus fees. After Friday, the price goes up to $90 plus fees. Register online: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/beginning-smartphone-photography-for-social-media-tickets-16439956352?ref=elink

This is a basic, introductory course. A current smartphone is required with the free Facebook and Instagram apps installed.

Hope to see you there!
